How to be a Member

📝 Steps to Register

1. Choose Your Membership Type

  • Ordinary (Full) Membership – This is for practicing clinicians. It lasts 1 year and costs KES 6,000. www,kecoa.org


2. Sign Up via the Online Form

  • Navigate to the “Subscribe for Full Membership” page.

  • Complete the registration form with:

    • Email & password

    • Personal details: first & last name, phone, country, county/city/state, place of work

    • Payment method (Lipa na M-Pesa) kecoa.org


3. Make Your Payment

There are two main options:

A) Employer Payroll Deduction (“Check-off”)

  • KES 500/month deducted via your salary payslip. kecoa.org

B) Non-Checkoff (Direct M-Pesa Payment):

  1. Go to Mpesa → Lipa na Mpesa → Paybill

  2. Use Business No. 4025795 and Account No. 1787624#[YourNameNoSpace]

  3. Choose:

    • Ksh 6,000 (annual), or

    • Ksh 3,000 now (with another Ksh 3,000 in July) kecoa.org


4. Confirm Payment

  • Once payment is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation SMS from Coop Bank (and KCOA).

  • Immediately text back to 0700 504 635 with:

    • Your official name

    • Phone number

    • Email

    • County/KCOA branch

    • Employment organization

  • KCOA will then grant you access to the portal, and arrange issuance of your membership certificate and ID card. kecoa.org


5. Log In & Access Your Portal

  • After confirmation, log in via the member portal
